I had a wonderful childhood. Ice skating brought me to different countries in Asia as a competitive figure ice skater. I started ice skating at an early age of 6 with my younger cousin, Jovanii. My first competition outside the Philippines was in Hong Kong where I've won gold medals in all entries I joined. After that success, my coach (Coach Albert Aguilar)and my mom decided to allow me to enter into different competitions in Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and major Philippine competitions. But luck wasn't very generous; we had stopped our passion for ice skating due to financial reasons. And this had led me to be more serious in my academics. I never neglect my studies though; even I'm most of the time in the rink practicing. I had excelled well in my academics specially math.
My elementary life was not very happy. I feel like an outcast to my classmates. I think because I was always out of the country 2-3 times in year and very famous in school as a competitive ice skater and a competitive student. I was more of a loner then. I would hurriedly go home after class and stay home with mom.
